See extra documented added below. The big surplus for the use of concrete in designing an important architectural element is the freedom in form. This was also our choice to participate with this contest. We wanted to create a stair that would have a monumental character. A stair that is not only visually light but also where the experience would be light. This resulted in a stair consisting of one module where the form is a consequence of the structural flow and the physical aspects of concrete.
