182 – Junta

Our idea is to create a pre-elementary staircase construction that provides an adaptable solution for variable floor heights and flight widths. The main construction elements are the reinforced concrete stringers and treads. Together with the lateral glass railing construction, a self-supporting spatial supporting structure is formed. The treads are inserted into the S-shaped steles. U-profiles made of stainless steel are screwed to the outer edge of the treads. The glass elements of the railing are then clamped in these profiles. This lower railing fastening in conjunction with the handrail then ensures a tension-proof connection and overall stability of the supporting structure.
